Currently accepting new clients in California via tele-health
“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do." - Brene Brown
About Me and My Approach
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist offering telehealth services to clients across California. Before starting my private practice, I served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine. My specialties include anxiety and OCD, couples therapy, executive functioning and ADHD, and the emotional aspect of chronic health conditions (including chronic pain, ME/CFS, and long COVID). I work with adults of all backgrounds and have a particular passion for serving individuals from marginalized communities.
In our work together, my hope is to support you in:
Developing a deeper understanding of yourself, others, and the human condition;
Building a more compassionate and accepting relationship with your emotions and all parts of yourself;
Living with more ease and freedom from being driven by thoughts and feelings, allowing greater access to well-being and resilience;
Aligning your life with your core values and what brings you purpose, joy, and connection;
Tapping into the mind’s natural capacity for growth and healing, including the loosening of rigid, habitual patterns in response to life’s challenges.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply present. I emphasize acceptance, mindfulness, and self-compassion, and I help clients tune into the wisdom of their emotional and bodily experience. In addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I draw from somatic, psychodynamic, and parts work approaches, as well as contemplative traditions such as Buddhist psychology.
As a queer person of color, I’m committed to creating a safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+, polyamorous/ENM, and neurodivergent individuals. I also speak conversational Mandarin and can conduct sessions in a mix of English and Mandarin, though I ask that clients have a basic working proficiency in English for best results.
If you’re curious about working together, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to explore whether we might be a good fit. Please reach out using the Contact Me form below.

50 Minutes. Mon-Fri. 10 am - 6 pm Pacific time, with limited times on weekends.
I support partners in healing relationship ruptures and breaking out of reactive patterns that do not align with their authentic selves. My practice is affirming of LGBTQIA+ identities and welcoming of polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous (ENM) relationships.
I’m currently out-of-network with all insurance providers. However, your out-of-network benefits may cover a significant portion of the fee—usually around 50% to 80%. I recommend reaching out to your insurance company to check your specific coverage. I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurer for reimbursement.
A limited number of reduced-fee slots may be available for clients experiencing financial hardship. These are offered on a case-by-case basis. If cost is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out through the Contact Me section to discuss reduced-rate options.
